Family Photographer: Oh! How Time Flies
I was on my way home when I see old folks with their grandchildren taking random photographs. At first, I thought about how those folks had cope up with technology like digital point and shoot cameras but saw their smile and realized how beautiful they are. At that moment, I thought and hope they captured it expressively because time flies so fast and we will not have the opportunity to rewind events like that that are worth remembering.

As I sit around my room when I arrived home, I kept wondering about the folks and their grandchildren. All of a sudden, I found myself hovering around the corridor, where our family portraits are displayed. It still amazes me whenever I look at the portraits; it seems like it's only been yesterday. If only I could bring back the time, I should have thanked our family photographer for capturing that intimate moment with the whole family. Seeing those photos make those memories appear real in my mind. I can feel the joy as I look at the smiles from my own grandparents, my parents (who have been so healthy back then) and me, who is still so small and cheerful then. Now, as I look back, I realized that that's when I appreciate the beauty of photography.

The goodness of having a portrait is that it captures each moment depending on your mood. The closer, the more I could sense the emotion of the subject. I noticed that while browsing the old photographs in our [family] antique photo album. Then I realized I should start compiling portraits from the family yearly or even monthly if I had the time. As a person who discovers an obsession for details, I need more than just a camera phone or point and shoot digital cameras won't work well with my preferences. I need a photographer who specializes in portrait photography with the ability to capture all the details vividly.

For my first photography session, I picture the sun, sands and beaches; something like those pristine and serene beaches in Miami. That's when I found out about Miami photographer Anais Ganouna. With a clear thought of what I want for our family portrait, I browsed her website with my eagerness to contact her as soon as I can. I was stunned and was left in awe just seeing her portfolio screaming beauty and art with vivid, clear and real emotions.

Before, I wonder how it feels like to see myself in an aesthetic form of photography. Now, I don't have to wonder anymore because I've got my turn with the help of a talented photographer like Anais Ganouna. All I can say is that I'm happy, satisfied and grateful for spending that very moment with my family.
